Controller and contact
CliFar GmbH, Josef Str. 37, D-78166 Donaueschingen, Germany, is responsible for processing on this website. Contact: info@clifar.de or +49 (0)771 9294 7404. Contact the company at these details to exercise your data-protection rights or ask about a data protection officer.
Contact and quote forms
We use the details you submit (name, email, optional company and telephone, subject and message; quote requests also include origin, destination, transport mode, package count, dimensions, weight and Incoterms) to respond to your request and, where relevant, take steps toward a contract. The website routes the request to the relevant CliFar mailbox. Form contents are not stored in the website database, but the message and reply may remain in CliFar email systems for handling and applicable record-keeping. The website uses IONOS hosting; technical request logs and security data may be processed by the hosting provider. The short-lived form challenge and rate limiter do not retain the message text.
Newsletter
If the Mailchimp subscription form is enabled and you submit your email address, it is sent to Mailchimp (Intuit) as a pending subscription. Mailchimp sends a confirmation email and the subscription becomes active only after you confirm. You may unsubscribe at any time. The website stores the popup dismissal and consent preferences in this browser, not your email address. Mailchimp processes subscriber data under its applicable service terms; CliFar should confirm its data-processing agreement, international-transfer safeguards and retention settings before enabling sign-ups.
Cookies, analytics and maps
Necessary session storage supports secure forms and administrator sign-in. The website saves your optional analytics and external-media choice, its version and time in local storage in your browser; it is not linked to your name or email and is not sent to CliFar. Google Analytics or Tag Manager loads only after analytics consent and only if CliFar has configured an ID. Google Maps loads only after your external-media choice and a deliberate map request. When these services load, their providers may receive technical data such as your IP address. You can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Browsing the site does not count as consent.
Your rights and retention
CliFar retains enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle the request and comply with applicable retention duties. Newsletter information remains with the newsletter provider until you unsubscribe or deletion is otherwise requested, subject to necessary consent records. You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object where applicable, and complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. Contact CliFar using the details above. The notice must reflect the final hosting, email, analytics and newsletter settings.
